Fred and Habert
(A little back story…Fred and Habert were our “guides” during the 2007 trip. They made a huge difference as we navigated around Mbale. The two of them helped to make our previous trip a success. Many of us have kept in touch with them.)

Fred and Habert have begun hanging around with us and it is a delight to see them again. When we first saw them they greeted us with huge hugs. Part of what these trips are about is building relationships and it is so nice to come here and see friends and familiar faces. Fred will be attending school in the fall for social work and Habert has been attending school to be a lab technician (I think.) They have invited us to their homes later in the week and it will be interesting to see how and where they live.
