Hi Hi, its Kelsey, so this is my first work trip, therefore my first blog. I’m really excited to be here, I’ve been having so much fun, I can hardly stand it (just kidding). But really I have been having such a good time! I’ve meet a TON of new fun people, and I’ve created some strong bonds with a lot of people and I’m so excited to get to know the rest a little better, its so beautiful here. I have had a very eventful week! So far my work group (lead by Matt) manned kitchen duty, has framed a wall, made a crazy hard to build horse shoe pit, rebuilt some benches that came out pretty funny looking but there is something for everyone, tall people, short people, etc. and today we fixed the outside stairs that go all over the camp. It’s been exhausting, personally I have been getting about 5 hours of sleep, and working so hard! There has been a little bug going around, I got a cough, and a bit of a sore throat. Today the highlight of my day was the high ropes course, and I drove the John Deere Gator, not to toot my own horn but I’m a pretty good driver if I do say so myself! The High Ropes Corse was so much fun, I was the first one to go up, and I was the demonstration model for the harnesses. We got some amazing pictures that I’m sure Larry has/will post. It was so rewarding, hard, and so much fun listing to Sheri, Lauren, Cassidy, Abby, Hanna, and Emily root for me! All in all today was a pretty extraordinary day! Oh and I got to talk to my mommy! Yayy! Well thats all for now, I need too get my sick self to bed! Bye….Pee-esss: Mommy I miss you!
Love Kelsey! <3
