I know you are on to Mingo County- the home of the Hatfield and McCoy's. Hannah, one note: your grandmother Virginia, dated a descendant of the Hatfield's when she was in colege at Marshall- Lance Hatfield! Fascinating area- watch out for all the coal dust. The people, though are the best- salt of the earth and the friendliest you'll ever meet. I'm so glad all of you are working in this area. Appalachia tends to be forgotten.
